Correction of the inner labia
If the inner labia are excessively enlarged and protrude between the outer labia, this can be uncomfortable. It can cause irritation when worn under clothing, hinder sexual intercourse, and even cause psychological distress. This can be corrected with labiaplasty. The excess is removed and the labia are reshaped. Asymmetries where only one side requires labia reduction can also be treated.
Clitoral hood tightening
In cases of hypertrophy of the inner labia, the skin above the clitoris is often thickened and excessive. In this case, a skin tightening of the clitoral hood (also known as the clitoral hood) is performed at the same time as the labiaplasty.
Correction of the outer labia
The outer labia tend to shrink with increasing adulthood. If the skin becomes slack, they can be tightened by removing the skin or replenishing it with autologous fat or hyaluronic acid.
