During laser peeling, the erbium laser removes the uppermost cells of the epidermis. This reduces pore size and improves uneven skin texture and subtle pigmentation defects. This results in a smoother, more refined complexion.
SKIN RESURFACING™ is a simple extension of the 4D laser lift with the goal of rejuvenating the skin at varying intensities. From a gentle, full-surface peel to the deep removal of wrinkles, achieving a firmer, softer, and smoother skin texture.
With two additional steps, it is possible to achieve greater effectiveness against deep wrinkles, very sun-damaged skin and skin stressed by environmental influences.
After pretreating the deeper skin layers with the Nd:YAG laser, which stimulates collagen production in the dermis, a fractional laser treatment is performed. The fractional Er:YAG laser beam creates small microchannels in the skin to remove old, damaged skin. New, healthy, firm tissue forms around these small microchannels, thus improving skin texture by smoothing wrinkles and tightening.
A full-face laser peel with a full-beam Er:YAG laser completes the treatment, removing surface imperfections and resulting in a radiant complexion. This procedure is suitable for all skin types. It is minimally invasive, painless, and requires little downtime compared to other traditional skin resurfacing methods.
